Damian Priest and Naomi Secure Spots in Elimination Chamber Matches – Two additional participants have earned their spots in next month’s Elimination Chamber, following intense matches on Friday’s SmackDown.
Naomi became the first woman to qualify for the women’s Elimination Chamber match set for March 1 in Toronto. She secured her spot with a hard-fought victory over Chelsea Green. The match concluded with Naomi hitting a split-legged moonsault for the pin, booking her place in the high-stakes chamber match.
The main event saw Damian Priest advance to the men’s Elimination Chamber match after defeating Braun Strowman in a chaotic contest. The match also featured Jacob Fatu, and the action escalated when Solo Sikoa interfered, aligning with Fatu. As the two brawled outside the ring, Cody Rhodes rushed to the scene, which led to a wild series of events. In the chaos, Tama Tonga was accidentally taken out by Solo. Meanwhile, Fatu confronted Solo, only to be shoved into him by Rhodes. Back in the ring, Priest managed to counter a running powerslam attempt from Strowman, ultimately securing the win with his South of Heaven chokeslam.
With these two new qualifications, attention turns to the final Elimination Chamber qualifying matches scheduled for RAW this Monday. Finn Balor will take on Seth Rollins, while Roxanne Perez faces Raquel Rodriguez, with both matches determining the final spots for the upcoming event.
