Fletcher, who is also Blue’s boyfriend, discussed her rehabilitation process during an appearance on Good Karma Wrestling.
Fletcher was asked about Blue’s recovery process. He expressed that while the experience has been challenging, it has also been rewarding as he has been able to support her throughout her rehabilitation.
“Definitely challenging, but also rewarding in other ways because as she got better and as she started going through her rehab process, and she was able to get back in the gym, I was able to be there for her and help her through all that kind of stuff. That was very rewarding for me,” Fletcher said. “Nurse Fletcher did good. It’s now Dr. Fletcher, getting her ready for the ring. She’ll be coming sooner than we think.” [H/T: Fightful]
Skye Blue has been sidelined with an ankle injury since June 2024, following a match against Hikaru Shida on AEW Collision. Her absence has been felt in AEW’s women’s division, where she had been gaining momentum before her injury.
With Fletcher’s update, it appears that Blue is progressing well and could be back in action in the near future. However, no official return date has been confirmed.
