WWE has announced that Rhodes will appear live on tonight’s SmackDown from Kansas City, Missouri. We’ll hear from Rhodes ahead of his match against Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 39 next month.
Last week’s SmackDown ended with Rhodes and Sami Zayn standing tall over The Usos. Jimmy and Jey Uso attempted to prevent Rhodes from making it to WrestleMania, but Zayn ran in to even the odds. Rhodes and Zayn were able to send The Usos packing after a brawl that spilled into the crowd.
Rhodes defeated LA Knight on Raw this Monday. After the match, Rhodes cut a promo sending a message to Reigns. Rhodes said Reigns will need to acknowledge him at WrestleMania.
There will be a segment on tonight’s SmackDown where Zayn confronts Jey Uso.
It’s also been announced that a mixed tag team match with Rhea Ripley & Dominik Mysterio facing Zelina Vega & Santos Escobar will take place on SmackDown tonight. The updated card for the episode is listed below:
