Eric Bischoff Confirms Hulk Hogan Is Recovering, Denies Rumors of Serious Health Crisis – On a recent episode of his 83 Weeks podcast, Eric Bischoff addressed circulating online rumors about Hulk Hogan’s health, clarifying the wrestling legend’s current condition and recovery progress following a recent surgery.
According to Bischoff, Hogan underwent a procedure related to ongoing nerve issues in his back and cervical spine. He revealed that Hogan had been experiencing trouble feeling his hands, prompting the decision to move forward with surgery. The outcome was encouraging.
“Look, he’s had some issues. You know, he went in for surgery. I don’t think he would mind if I shared this, but you know, he’s had issues with nerve problems in his back and spine, up in the cervical part of his neck, and he went in because he had a difficult time feeling his hands. And he went in for surgery and came out of the anesthesia and boom, he had feeling in his hands again. He’s really excited,” Bischoff explained.
Despite the success of the procedure, Hogan experienced a minor setback in the aftermath, which Bischoff attributed to the cumulative effects of anesthesia and post-surgery medication. He was clear in stating, however, that Hogan’s prognosis remains positive.
“Kind of had a couple issues with, I think just, you know, your body can only handle so much anesthesia over a certain period of time. And he’s had a lot of anesthesia. And I think between that and some of the prescription medication that he was on coming out of that surgery just kind of combined and set him back a little bit. But no, prognosis is good,” Bischoff said.
He also directly addressed and dismissed online claims that Hogan’s family had gathered due to a life-threatening situation, calling those reports “all bullshit.” Bischoff emphasized that while Hogan had a temporary setback, he remains on the path to recovery.
“Yeah, he had a bit of a setback because of neck surgery, but he’s going to kick out like he always does, and he’ll be fine,” he concluded.
