Karrion Kross Reacts to Logan Paul’s Comments – Logan Paul’s rapid rise in WWE continues to spark debate, with some wrestlers questioning the speed at which he has climbed the ranks. In a recent episode of his vlog, Paul acknowledged that not everyone in the locker room is thrilled with the opportunities he has received. His comments prompted a strong reaction from fellow WWE star Karrion Kross, who took to social media to share his perspective on the situation.
Kross began by addressing a misconception about Paul’s position, clarifying that the issue isn’t Paul himself, but rather how opportunities in WWE have shifted due to the rise of external branding and influence.
“It’s been brought to my attention that somebody in WWE thinks that his peers have a problem with his position in the company,” Kross stated. “He still doesn’t get it. No one has a problem with his position. The problem is that, for some people who have put 20, even 30 years in, they were told that there is a certain skillset they have to acquire.”
Kross explained that traditional wrestlers were conditioned to believe that time and experience would lead to greater opportunities. However, the modern wrestling landscape now heavily rewards individuals who have built brands outside of WWE—something Paul has mastered.
“For an extended period of time, no one was allowed to build a brand outside of the company. That’s the issue. That’s the problem,” Kross elaborated, pointing to a disconnect between industry veterans and newer stars who bring pre-established fame.
He further emphasized that the concern isn’t with Paul personally, but with the broader shift in WWE’s approach to talent. “Anyone can be him and people would have a problem with that. If people were told, when they went to professional wrestling schools, that they had to build a brand outside of the company in order to position themselves better, that’s exactly what they would have done.”
Despite his critical assessment, Kross clarified that he harbors no personal resentment toward Paul. Instead, he sees him as a strategic individual who has adapted well to WWE’s evolving business model.
“Me personally, I’m actually learning from that person and I see how the business is responding to that person. I don’t dislike that person. I think that person is great,” Kross admitted. “I like that person. I think they’re very cunning. I think they do the things that I wish Sami Zayn would do, and then he’d be World Champion.”
Kross closed his comments by expressing surprise that Paul appeared affected by the criticism: “I just don’t think he still gets it. I’m actually shocked that he’s rattled in the way that he is about this because he doesn’t have to be, but here we are. I think you guys get it, though.”
Paul’s journey in WWE remains a topic of conversation, with veteran wrestlers continuing to debate the impact of his rise on the industry. His ability to draw attention remains undeniable, but as Kross points out, it highlights an ongoing shift in how success is measured within WWE.
