AEW Talent Dealing With Injuries Following Grueling Double or Nothing PPV – The AEW locker room is reportedly facing a growing list of injuries and medical concerns following the demanding Double or Nothing pay-per-view held on Sunday, May 25, 2025, in Glendale, Arizona.
According to Fightful Select’s Sean Ross Sapp, several wrestlers are currently awaiting medical clearance, and one source noted that the “questionable list is as long as it’s been in a while.” The physically intense event, which stretched over five hours, appears to have taken a toll on many of the company’s top performers.
Among those affected are The Young Bucks—Matthew and Nicholas Jackson—who competed in the brutal Anarchy in the Arena match. Sapp reported that both brothers came out of the match “hurting,” with specific concern surrounding Nick Jackson. “It was feared that Nick Jackson sustained a concussion,” Fightful noted, although no official diagnosis had been confirmed at the time of reporting.
In more positive updates, Fightful reached out to Jamie Hayter after her hard-hitting Owen Hart Foundation Tournament final against Mercedes Moné. Hayter personally responded to confirm that she is “totally fine with no worries” following the bout.
Will Ospreay, who faced “Hangman” Adam Page in the men’s Owen Hart Foundation final, also appears to have avoided any major issues. He was reportedly traveling to the May 29 episode of AEW Dynamite and was said to have emerged from the weekend in good health.
With several stars awaiting medical evaluation, AEW is expected to finalize upcoming match cards on a rolling basis. According to Sapp’s report, “AEW will likely announce more matches as clearances occur,” meaning plans for Dynamite, Rampage, and upcoming events could remain fluid in the coming days.
