Megan Bayne Returns to AEW on Dynamite: Maximum Carnage – Megan Bayne made a major comeback to AEW, debuting on Dynamite Maximum Carnage as a surprise entrant in the women’s Casino Gauntlet match. This marked Bayne’s first appearance on AEW Dynamite in over 18 months, following a lengthy absence due to a torn ACL.
Previously used in an enhancement role between 2021 and 2022, Bayne’s new role on Dynamite was notably different. Standing at 5’11”, she immediately showcased her physicality by going toe-to-toe with Kris Statlander and Willow Nightingale, both staples of AEW’s women’s division. This shift in her presentation signals a more prominent role moving forward.
Bayne, a former OVW Women’s Champion, was trained by Al Snow and has had a diverse wrestling career. In 2023 and 2024, she toured Japan as part of the Stardom roster. She’s also been a standout performer on GCW in 2024 and 2025, solidifying her place in the wrestling world.
Bayne’s re-emergence in AEW’s women’s division signals exciting things to come. Earlier today, we noted how Bayne was spotted at the venue and possibly appearing on the show.
Toni Storm won the match and secured her spot in the AEW Women’s World Championship match at AEW Grand Slam: Australia
