WWE Considering Adding Angel Garza and Humberto Carrillo to LWO – WWE’s resurrection of the Latino World Order (LWO) has proven to be a lucrative move, and there’s now speculation that the faction could see some fresh additions.
The LWO, originally created by Eddie Guerrero in WCW, has been reintroduced as an active group in WWE. This revival has not only garnered attention but has also been a success in terms of merchandise sales.
The faction initially included Santos Escobar, Joaquin Wilde, Cruz Del Toro, and Zelina Vega as members of the Legado Del Fantasma faction when they were heels. However, after transitioning to babyfaces by aligning with Rey Mysterio during his feud with The Judgment Day (Finn Balor, Damian Priest, Rhea Ripley, and Dominik Mysterio), WWE decided to revive the LWO name for them.
Recent weeks have seen WWE airing babyface vignettes for Angel Garza and Humberto Carrillo in NXT. According to Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, there’s been discussion about adding them to the LWO faction.
Meltzer noted, “We do know an idea batted around is for the Garza cousins to eventually be involved with the LWO, but that’s one of those things down the line that could easily change.”
The broader concept is to have them team up in NXT, gaining momentum before potentially returning to the main roster, albeit with a new name. The vignettes have hinted at their shift toward a more serious wrestling focus, moving away from their previous gimmick as the Los Lotharios.
