It’s becoming increasingly evident that Drew McIntyre is on the brink of making an official heel turn.
On Tonight’s WWE RAW episode, Drew McIntyre was featured as a guest on Miz TV, where the Miz attempted to sow further seeds of discord in McIntyre’s mind. The New Day, Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston, interrupted the segment to defend Jey Uso’s actions in attempting to make amends.
During the exchange, McIntyre questioned why Woods and Kingston hadn’t confronted Jey Uso “after everything he’s done for you.” Throughout the segment, the Miz persisted in trying to exacerbate the tension between McIntyre and The New Day, ultimately receiving a headbutt from McIntyre for his efforts.
This confrontation led to a match between McIntyre and Kingston, with McIntyre emerging victorious after Ivar of The Viking Raiders attacked Woods, causing Kingston to be distracted and eat a Claymore.
Notably, this marks the second consecutive week where McIntyre has shown a lack of concern for Kingston’s well-being. After this week’s match, Ivar continued the assault, and McIntyre walked away as Kingston endured a relentless beating.
