John Cena Set to Face Jimmy Uso And Solo Sikoa at WWE Fastlane – John Cena is gearing up for WWE Fastlane, but the odds are stacked against him.
On the September 15 episode of WWE SmackDown, Cena made it clear that he was ready to compete. He had his sights set on taking on The Bloodline and invited AJ Styles to be his tag team partner. Styles accepted the challenge, leading to a contract signing later in the show.
However, a shocking turn of events unfolded after Cena put pen to paper. Solo Sikoa and Jimmy Uso launched a vicious backstage assault on Styles, leaving him injured and requiring medical attention. The night ended with Sikoa and Uso brutally attacking Cena in the ring.
During the September 25 episode of WWE RAW, an announcement was made that Cena’s match at WWE Fastlane would be a handicap match against Uso and Sikoa.
It’s worth noting that an advertisement for Friday’s episode of WWE SmackDown raised questions about whether Cena would truly be alone in this battle.
As previously reported, LA Knight, who is currently out of action with COVID, is set to be Cena’s partner for WWE Fastlane, scheduled for October 7 at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, IN.
