Christian Cage Wins AEW TNT Title – Christian Cage has secured the AEW TNT Championship after defeating Darby Allin and Luchasaurus in a hard-fought battle. Cage clinched the victory by pinning the 65-Million Old dinosaur shortly after Allin executed his signature Coffin Drop move.
Despite having referred to himself as the TNT Champion since the day Luchasaurus initially captured the title on June 17, 2023, Christian only clinched the championship during the thrilling AEW Saturday Collision event on September 23.
While Luchasaurus may not have been thrilled about losing the title, he ultimately accepted the outcome and even begrudgingly celebrated with Christian.
In a backstage promo following his win, Christian humorously proclaimed himself as the Undisputed Champion and announced that he would defend his championship against Darby Allin in a 2-out-of-3 Falls Match at AEW WrestleDream.
This victory marks Christian Cage’s first official AEW Championship win and his first championship since his triumphant victory over Kenny Omega on the inaugural episode of AEW Rampage in 2021, where he became the IMPACT Wrestling World Champion.
