He continues and walks, Goodfellas-style, outside, through the kitchen and to the table, as he makes his way to Gorilla position. – Cathy Kelley is backstage with “The Wise Man” of The Bloodline, Paul Heyman. He walks circles around Kelley as she talks about The Usos losing their Undisputed WWE Tag-Team Championships to Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens at WrestleMania Saturday. She asks if that’s a bad omen for Roman Reigns heading into his title defense against Cody Rhodes later tonight.
Heyman talks about Dusty Rhodes teaching him a lesson about “where’s the money” when he was tasked with conveying to the viewing audience the enormity of Starrcade back in the day. He then says simply, the money is with Roman Reigns. Not Cody Rhodes. He tells “The American Nightmare” that it was a nice try, but Reigns won’t wilt under the bright lights tonight. He tells him to get ready to lose to “The Tribal Chief.”
– There si nothing else to recap, we didn’t get anything interesting, just recaps, clips and notes from last night. If you didn’t read our newsboard, Peter Rosenberg “reveals” that Brock Lesnar vs. Omos will be opening the show. Most useless and boring pre-show ever. WrestleMania is next, stay tuned!

The Usos drag Reigns on top of Cody but new Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens. Fans go wild as they rush the ring to attack The Usos. They take out The Usos, then Owens hits a Stunner on Reigns, and Sami hits a Helluva Kick to Reigns. The Usos attack Zayn and Owens again, then the two teams brawl to the back. Cody crawls for the pin as the referee wakes back up and makes the slow count. Reigns kicks out and everyone explodes and Heyman is beside himself.
Reigns and Rhodes trade big strikes from their knees now, fighting to their feet as fans go along with each blow. The huge strikes continue for a minute or so. Cody blocks a Superman Punch and unloads with left jabs of his own as fans go wild. Cody with the Bionic Elbow and the right hand in a tribute to his father. Cody nails the Cross Rhodes, but holds Reigns and nails it again. Heyman is on the apron arguing with the referee. Solo comes back down, wearing a hoodie, and drops Cody with a Samoan Spike from the apron. Solo drops back down. Reigns gets up and runs the ropes to level Rhodes with a big Spear for the pin to win and retain.
Winner and STILL Undisputed WWE Universal Champion: Roman Reigns
Solo Sikoa joins “The Wise Man” Paul Heyman in the ring and “The Tribal Chief” Roman Reigns is presented with his Undisputed WWE Universal Championship. “Just because we’re in Hollywood doesn’t mean we’re guaranteed a happy ending.” The crowd continues to react and the three exit the ring as Corey Graves and Michael Cole talk us through some match highlights.
They stop half way up the entrance ramp and Reigns raises both titles high in the air to continue his legendary 900+ day reign as fireworks erupt all over SoFi Stadium. Cody is shown looking disappointed in the ring. That’s how this year’s show goes off the air. Thanks for joining us!
