WWE Rumors: Next Title Shake-Up?

WWE Rumors: Next Title Shake-Up?

What will be the next WWE title to change hands?

If you like to bet on sports, including the WWE, you know where to look for certain odds. We’ve hunted down odds on the most likely titles to get shaken up next.

Women’s Tag Champions +175

At the top of the list is the Women’s Tag Team Title. The Boss ‘n’ Hug Connection were the inaugural champs were taken down in Wrestle Mania 35 by The IIconics When Peyton Royce pinned Bayley.

But do Billie Kay and Peyton Royce have the star power to merit a storyline that keeps them holding on to their lovely new belts? It wasn’t long before Bayley and Sasha Banks got thrown under the proverbial bus and lost their belts, what, 49 days?  Some have said it’s due to the female tag division falling apart. That said, who will take it from them? Asuka and Kairi Sane? Or will it be Bayley and Banks again?

With the women’s tag division in flux, we’ll likely see a shakeup sooner rather than later.

WWE Championship +333

Next on the chopping block is the king of SmackDown, Kofi Kingston who got the belt for the first time just last April at WrestleMania with his defeat of Daniel Bryan. But the oddsmakers think there is a high likelihood that Kofi will be dethroned.

The most likely to do so would be Randy Orton or Brock Lesnar … perhaps Lars Sullivan. But what if Daniel Bryan wins at the Royal Rumble and gets set up for a big rematch with the Miz … Then all bets are off. Furthermore, if Randy Orton takes the Championship belt, would they set it up to fall almost immediately to Roman Reigns?

Universal Champion +600

I tend to think that Brock Lesnar would be left out of the WWE Championship and be put back into contention for the Universal Championship. Or it could be Drew McIntyre that unseeds Seth Rollins. That said, there has been a ton of recent build up around AJ Styles. Could he be the one to claim the Universal Championship belt?

Six to one is pretty good odds, yet, I think we might see Seth Rollins hold on for longer than Kofi Kingston, or the women’s tag champs … so, regardless of who eventually ends up the next champion, it probably won’t come before either of those.

Raw Tag Team Title +700

The Raw Title, on the other hand, will be interesting. Ever since the breakup of Cesaro and Sheamus, it just hasn’t been the same. However, there have been rumors that The Bar will be reunited in an upcoming SummerSlam HeatWave event. So, could they be back? And if so, would they become immediate contenders to snap the Raw Tag Team Title back? If this is all just a bunch of mumbo jumbo and rumor nonsense, will it be the Usos slam their way to the Title?

I can see this happening before a change to the Universal Champion. So, at 7/1 odds, a change of hands holding the RAW Tag Team Title looks pretty good. Maybe not as good as the Women’s Tag Title, but much more value.
