As noted, PWInsider reports that Edge will be returning to WWE television for the big SmackDown 1000 show in October… but apparently, Edge had no idea.
A fan mentioned the news on Twitter and it looks like he wasn’t told anything so either the news is not true or WWE has plans for him to be at the show and he hasn’t been informed yet. It could also be that he is choosing not to confirm anything until it’s announced by WWE.

WWE has been reaching out to several former Superstars about making an appearance on the show. So far, The Undertaker is the first major name confirmed to appear.
