– Below is video of Mike Rome talking to The Authors of Pain after their NXT call-up on last night’s RAW, which saw them easily defeat Heath Slater and Rhyno before apparently firing WWE Hall of Famer Paul Ellering as their manager.
Akam says this is not about Ellering, it’s about how they destroyed the first SmackDown Tag Team Champions. Ellering then confronts them and asked what they’re doing. He came up with the plan to win the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic and the NXT Tag Team Titles. Rezar says this is not about Paul as his chapter ended in NXT. Ellering then watches as they walk off.
– Below is video of No Way Jose talking to Mike Rome after his call-up from WWE NXT on last night’s RAW. Jose defeated NXT enhancement talent John Skyler in this main roster debut. Regarding what he brings to RAW, Jose says he doesn’t have to say it because we saw it – energy, excitement, fiesta. Jose says every time he went out at NXT people saw it and felt it, and now RAW felt it but it won’t be the last time. Jose says he’s here to stay and is going straight to the top of WWE.
– As noted, the two-night Superstar Shakeup event will begin on next Monday’s RAW and will wrap on SmackDown. Above is video of various WWE Superstars discussing the potential roster changes. The video features Karl Anderson, Luke Gallows, Sasha Banks, Bayley, No Way Jose, TJP, The Bar, The Revival and The Miz, who laughs when asks about possibly going back to the blue brand with Daniel Bryan. Anderson says The Good Brothers are in dire need of a shakeup and it would mean new life for them if they went to SmackDown. TJP comments on possibly becoming the first Filipino-born WWE Intercontinental Champion.
