Tonight’s NXT episode will probably look different from what they had originally planned for the show.
Dave Meltzer reported this evening that WWE just finished taping tonight’s show and there were several changes made.
It was not stated why the changes were needed but it could have to do with an outbreak among people in NXT. There aren’t many details available but the belief is that several people have tested positive for COVID-19 and that has forced WWE to make creative changes.
Here is what WWE is advertising for tonight’s show:
– Gauntlet Eliminator Match to decide Finn Balor’s first challenger. The participants in tonight’s gauntlet are Kushida, Cameron Grimes, Kyle O’Reilly, Timothy Thatcher and Bronson Reed
– Battle Royal to determine the number 1 contender for the NXT Women’s Championship. The participants are Dakota Kai, Candice LeRae, Rhea Ripley, Tegan Nox, Shotzi Blackheart, Indi Hartwell, Aliyah, Kayden Carter, Kacy Catanzaro, Raquel Gonzalez and Xia Li.
– Jake Atlas vs. Tommaso Ciampa
