Matt Hardy: TNA Pushing for New Live TV Deal – During the latest episode of “The Extreme Life of Matt Hardy,” current TNA star Matt Hardy offered insight into the company’s evolving business strategy, revealing that TNA Wrestling is aggressively working to secure a new television platform to better showcase its programming—particularly live broadcasts.
Hardy was candid about the company’s ambitions. “Live content is what everybody wants, and we are hell bent on finding a new television platform,” he said. According to Hardy, this push is central to TNA’s growth strategy, with a clear focus on increasing the reach and visibility of TNA iMPACT! through live broadcasts across the United States.
“This is something they’re working really hard on right now,” Hardy emphasized, pointing to the behind-the-scenes effort being invested in securing better distribution. He also took the opportunity to praise TNA President Carlos Silva for his leadership during this critical phase. “Carlos Silva has been great and is really dedicated to making this happen,” Hardy added, reinforcing the organization’s commitment to moving TNA forward in a competitive wrestling landscape.
The pursuit of a new broadcast home comes as TNA continues to reestablish itself under its classic brand identity, following its recent relaunch. Live episodes of iMPACT! have seen a renewed energy with the return of top names like Hardy himself, the Hardy Boyz, and the integration of crossover talent from WWE as part of an ongoing partnership.
TNA’s current broadcast deal remains in place for now, but Hardy’s comments suggest a major shift could be on the horizon.
