During the May 16 episode of WWE SmackDown, General Manager Nick Aldis made a major roster announcement by revealing that Giulia, former WWE NXT Women’s Champion, is now a member of the SmackDown brand. The reveal took place in a backstage segment featuring Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss outside Aldis’ office. As Flair and Bliss were speaking, Giulia arrived and exchanged a brief, tense stare-down with Flair before Aldis welcomed Charlotte inside to discuss potential Money in the Bank opportunities.
This marks a new chapter in Giulia’s WWE career after a short but noteworthy stint on WWE RAW. She made her RAW debut shortly after WrestleMania 41 and even headlined a recent episode on Netflix, teaming with Roxanne Perez in a losing effort against Rhea Ripley and IYO SKY.
