Pete Dunne Challenges for Match on Next Monday’s RAW – In recent months, Pete Dunne has been determined to reclaim his identity and leave the “Butch” moniker behind. However, his efforts have repeatedly been undermined by R-Truth, who has accidentally referred to him as “Butch” on multiple occasions, sparking frustration.
In a WWE Digital Exclusive, Dunne confronted R-Truth backstage. He expressed his frustration, stating, “Everywhere I go, I hear ‘Butch.’ It’s been driving me mad.” Tired of the constant reminder of his former persona, Dunne laid down a challenge for a match to settle the issue once and for all. He added that he planned to take the matter straight to RAW General Manager Adam Pearce.
As of now, WWE has not officially confirmed the match for the December 2 episode of RAW, but tensions between the two have escalated.
The current lineup for the December 2 episode of RAW includes:
- Pete Dunne vs. R-Truth (pending confirmation)
- WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship Tournament kickoff
