Nia Jax on Winning the Queen of the Ring Tournament – At WWE King and Queen of the Ring, Nia Jax defeated Lyra Valkyria to win the Queen of the Ring tournament. In doing so, she earned a shot at the WWE Women’s Championship, which is currently held by Bayley.
Speaking on WWE’s The Bump, Nia Jax commented on her victory. She referenced getting released in 2021.
“Two years ago, you didn’t believe in me. You know what? While I was gone, I got refocused, I got better, I got more dangerous, and look at me now,” Nia Jax said. “I don’t need any of you to have my back because now I’m the Queen, and you all can bow down, you peasants.”
WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H congratulated Nia Jax on her win in a post on social media. WWE Women’s Champion Bayley also commented on Jax’s victory. She wrote, “See you around, idiot.”
