Backstage News on The Wolf Dogs Post-NXT Farewell – Fans are wondering what WWE may have in store for Bron Breakker on the main roster.
The top NXT star had been pushed as a big name since his arrival in 2021, where he quickly transitioned into a long and dominant NXT Champion. Breakker had been working on SmackDown since mid-February while also continuing to work in NXT.
On Tuesday’s episode of NXT, Bron and his Wolf Dogs tag partner Baron Corbin lost the NXt Tag Team Titles to Nathan Frazer & Axiom. This was a Stand & Deliver rematch. After the match, Breakker cut a heartfelt promo about his time in NXT, which was a farewell speech.
Fightful Select reports there have been pitches for Corbin to join Breakker on SmackDown so they can continue their tag team on the main roster. The duo has been praised internally and by fans for their run up to this point.
It’s unclear whether that is the current direction and, if so, when Corbin could exactly join him.
