Awesome Truth Presented with New World Tag Team Titles – As spoiled earlier, the April 15 episode of WWE RAW saw Triple H presenting Awesome Truth (R-Truth & The Miz) with new WWE Tag Team Championships.
Triple H said the belts are the WWE World Tag Team Championships, doing away with the Raw Tag Team Championships.
R-Truth was very impressed, believing Triple H to be a magician. The Miz said this is their opportunity to elevate the tag team division.
A triple threat match for the new #1 contenders also took place after the segment. DIY (Tommaso Ciampa and Johnny Gargano, defeated The New Day and The Creed Brothers. They’ll face Awesome Truth on a later date.
The Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championships were split at WrestleMania XL in a six-pack ladder match with Judgment Day (Finn Balor & Damian Priest) defending. Awesome Truth (R-Truth & Miz) captured the Raw Tag Team Titles while Austin Theory & Grayson Waller captured the SmackDown Tag Team Titles.
