Spoiler on a Major Star Expected To Debut on Tonight’s AEW Dynamite – According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, sources in Japan have revealed that Kazuchika Okada recently traveled to the United States and remains there. Speculation is rife that Okada will make his official debut as a member of the AEW roster on tonight’s episode of AEW Dynamite.
Tony Khan has been vocal about Wednesday’s Dynamite marking the beginning of a new era for AEW. Okada’s potential appearance aligns perfectly with this narrative. As a seven-time world champion in NJPW and one of its top stars for years, Okada’s impending debut in AEW has been highly anticipated since his departure from NJPW was announced in February.
While this wouldn’t mark Okada’s first appearance in AEW, it would be his debut as an official member of the roster. Previously, Okada appeared in AEW through NJPW’s working relationship with the company. His last match on AEW Dynamite was on October 25, where he teamed up with Orange Cassidy in a losing effort against Bryan Danielson and Claudio Castagnoli.
As noted earlier, AEW Dynamite is set for a major makeover, signaling a significant evolution for the promotion’s flagship program.
