AEW Debuting New Set on Dynamite – AEW Dynamite is set for a major makeover, signaling a significant evolution for the promotion’s flagship program. While the debut of a fresh color palette on social media has sparked speculation, changes extend beyond just the logo.
The iconic tunnels, synonymous with AEW’s early days, are poised to make a comeback. The nature of these tunnels, whether they mirror the originals or have undergone alterations, remains undisclosed. These tunnels had been temporarily repurposed at the Imagination Pavilion in EPCOT last fall, adding an air of nostalgia to AEW’s latest venture.
Moreover, AEW Dynamite is gearing up for a revamped theme, with early indications pointing to a rock-inspired composition crafted by Mikey Rukus.
In a separate development, AEW has recently acquired a new overhead lighting system. While unrelated to the current overhaul, this addition underscores the promotion’s commitment to enhancing the visual experience for fans.
While speaking to SI.Com, AEW CEO Tony Khan believes the timing is right to unveil a new set on the brand’s signature show.
“Tonight is the perfect time, especially coming off an amazing AEW Revolution,” said Khan, who is also AEW’s GM and Head of Creative. “In many ways, it was the end of one chapter and the beginning of a new one. Sting ended his phenomenal three-year run in AEW and the most iconic career in wrestling, going out on the highest of notes as an undefeated AEW tag team champion. So tonight is the start of a new era, and people are going to be very excited when they see this new set on Dynamite.”
