Following the match, an irate Harwood and Wheeler voiced their frustration backstage, feeling unsatisfied with the inconclusive result. Harwood then took the opportunity to issue a challenge to Moxley and Castagnoli for a rematch at the upcoming AEW Revolution pay-per-view event. However, before tensions could escalate further, security intervened, preventing another physical altercation between the two teams.
