TNT Title Match Announced for AEW Revolution – On the February 21 episode of AEW Dynamite, it was revealed that Daniel Garcia would be challenging Christian Cage for the AEW TNT Championship at Revolution PPV. This announcement came after Garcia’s recent number one contenders bout against Adam Copeland ended in a no contest due to interference.
During the show, it was mentioned that Copeland was not cleared to compete, leading to the announcement of Garcia’s title shot. However, before the match could take place, tensions escalated between Garcia and Christian, with Christian making disparaging remarks about Garcia’s family.
Garcia, undeterred by Christian’s words, challenged him to a fight on Dynamite. Instead of accepting the challenge himself, Christian sent his allies Nick Wayne and Killswitch to confront Garcia. In the ensuing chaos, Garcia stood his ground, taking out Wayne while Matt Menard intervened to neutralize Killswitch.
With emotions running high and tensions boiling over, the stage is set for a highly anticipated showdown between Daniel Garcia and Christian Cage for the AEW TNT Championship.
