WWE Hall of Famer John Bradshaw Layfield (JBL) is backstage for tonight’s SmackDown, as reported by Fightful Select. However, there’s uncertainty regarding whether JBL will make an on-screen appearance or if he’s simply visiting backstage.
JBL’s last appearance on WWE television was on November 21st, where he revealed the competitors for the Iron Survivor Challenge scheduled for tomorrow’s NXT Deadline premium live event. As for tonight’s SmackDown, it’s the Tribute To The Troops special, set in Providence, Rhode Island. The show is expected to feature stars like Cody Rhodes, CM Punk, and Randy Orton in action.
