Seth Rollins Comments on CM Punk During Live Promo

Seth Rollins Comments on CM Punk During Live Promo – At WWE Survivor Series on November 25, CM Punk made his highly anticipated return to WWE television after an eight-year absence. He emerged following the men’s WarGames match, which ended with Seth Rollins, Cody Rhodes, Jey Uso, Sami Zayn, & Randy Orton securing the victory.

Footage from fans captured Rollins expressing his feelings toward Punk, gesturing and vocalizing his discontent as Punk stood at the top of the aisle.

During a live event on November 26, Rollins addressed the situation, referencing the previous night’s WarGames match and the chants for CM Punk from the crowd.

“Did you guys watch WarGames last night? [crowd chants ‘CM Punk’]. You already know how I feel about that, I said as much last night. I’m not going to waste any more breath on somebody that has been gone for eight years, has done nothing but try and tear this place down. Instead, I’m going to take my time and use my breath on talking about the people who have been here all along. That’s everybody in the back who has made WWE the hottest ticket in town. That’s every single one of you who are here tonight. I could end this on a sour note like that, but I don’t want to. You guys have some beautiful singing voices,” he said before getting the crowd to sing his song as the show came to a close.

In January, Rollins told Punk to stay away from WWE as he is a cancer. He later said that it pained him to say bad things about Punk as Punk helped him in the past.

As noted earlier, Dave Meltzer suggested that Rollins’ reaction was scripted, providing a potential basis for a storyline angle involving their past discourse.
