Jon Moxley Injury Update – During last week’s AEW Dynamite: Grand Slam, Jon Moxley and Rey Fenix competed for the AEW International Title. Unfortunately, Moxley sustained an injury during the match, leading to a change in the originally planned ending. Rey Fenix emerged as the new champion.
Moxley’s injury, reported as a mild concussion, prompted the referee to adjust the match’s finish. After the injury occurred, the referee initiated a count but stopped at two and a half. Fenix proceeded to execute another move, and the referee counted quickly, making it evident that the planned finish had been altered.
According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, Jon Moxley is said to be doing fine following the injury. It remains uncertain when he will be medically cleared to return to in-ring action, however there is no cause for significant concern regarding his condition.
