This segment comes in the wake of McIntyre’s victory over Jey Uso in the main event of the latest episode of Raw. The match witnessed McIntyre hesitating to intervene when Jey was targeted by a group called Judgment Day.
Judgment Day had been attempting to recruit Jey into their faction and interfered to aid him during his bout against McIntyre. However, Jey ultimately rejected Judgment Day’s offer and unleashed a series of superkicks on Damian Priest, Dominik Mysterio, and Finn Balor. While Jey’s focus was diverted, McIntyre took advantage of the situation by delivering a Claymore Kick and securing the pinfall victory.
In the storyline, McIntyre’s lack of trust in Jey stems from his previous affiliation with The Bloodline.
