Jon Moxley Won’t Appear Live On AEW Dynamite – AEW has announced that we will hear from Moxley on Wednesday’s Dynamite, but he will not appear live on the show.
Moxley is working NJPW events next week at Strong Independence Day on July 4th and July 5th in Japan, where he will be teaming with Homicide on the first night against El Desperado & Jun Kasai in an “Exciting Encounter Doomsday No DQ” match, while he’ll wrestle Desperado on the second night in a “Final Death” match.
While speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer noted Moxley did a pre-tape interview that will air.
“No, he won’t [appearing on the show]. They did announce him for the show. Moxley is in Japan….Moxley is in the main event on shows Tuesday and Wednesday in Japan. The show will be over at our time. It’s a 6:30 show in Japan, so he’s not gonna be able to get back. It’s a taped interview. I knew he was doing a taped interview.”

- Kenny Omega vs. Wheeler Yuta
- Ruby Soho vs. Britt Baker in a quarterfinal match in the Women’s Owen Hart Foundation Tournament
- AEW International Champion Orange Cassidy and Darby Allin vs. Keith Lee and Swerve Strickland in a quarterfinal match for the Blind Eliminator Tag Team Tournament
- AEW World Champion MJF and Adam Cole vs. opponents TBA in a quarterfinal match for the Blind Eliminator Tag Team Tournament
