7/22 AEW Collision Results – The show opens up with Tony Schiavone introducing Starks, who comes out with a lot of pyro effects. Schiavone tells him congrats but brings up the controversy of him holding the rope. Starks shows off his Louis Vuitton bag and tells everyone he’s wearing Prada shoes. He cares more about people talking about his style than people talking about how he won.

Ricky Starks Speaks & A Main Event Match Is Set

He says, no disrespect to Jushin Thunder Liger. He also doesn’t want to be known as a Pillar of the company anymore. Punk comes out and says he’s not mad at Starks and says that he’s kind of proud of Starks. Says he can’t say that he’s never cheated in his life. Makes fun of New Jersey. He says that he can live with the L, but can Starks live with the win knowing he can’t beat Punk without cheating?

 Christian and Luchasaurus are out now. Christian says this promo is taking too long to his liking. He says that “We are the faces of TNT now and forever.” Darby Allin is now out and trash-talks Christian and Luchasaurus. He wants a tag match — between him and Punk vs. Christian and Starks. It’s made official

A segment shows Andrade not being able to come inside the building because management doesn’t want him to be there due to the upcoming AEW trios title match. Management wants it to be a clean match. 

Bullet Club Gold Vs. Darius Martin & Action Andretti

White and Martin start off the match. White chops him twice and then tags in Robinson. Dropkick from Martin and Martin tags in Andretti. Andretti hits a springboard tornado to Robinson. Dropkicks Robinson and then Martin does it with him. Robinson tags in White and White has Andretti in the corner. He beats on him and then tags in Robinson, who hits a stunner on the ropes. White throws Martin the barricade. All four members pose —- The Gunns, Robinson, and White.

Back from the break, Robinson tags in White, and Martin also gets tagged in. He kicks Robinson and Big Knees to white. He knocks both of them out and gets a two-count on White. Highcross body to White and Martin goes for a pin but only gets a two-count. Andretti hits a shotgun dropkick to the German suplex for a two-count. Robinson traps the legs of Andretti and then tags himself in. He gets Andretti down and White tags in. White hits the left hand of god, the pendulum DDT, and the blade runner for the win.

Winners: Bullet Club Gold

Post-match, the Gunns attack Andretti and Martin. The crowd boos. Miro is up next.

Miro Vs. Nick Comoroto

The commentators talk about Willow Nightingale winning the Women’s Owen Hart Tournament Cup. She won the match last week against Ruby Soho.

Miro’s music hits, and he walks out, but on his way to the ring, he gets ambushed by Nick Comoroto. The bell finally rings and for a little bit, Comoroto gets the best of Miro. Miro finally gets back on his feet and starts giving some offense. He hits a monster kick and he gets Nick Comoroto to tap out to the Game Over. Overall it was a fast-paced match. 

Winner: Miro via Submission

A segment airs about the legacy of the AEW Tag Team Champions FTR. The announcers say that they will hear from FTR later tonight. The House of Black’s music hits and it’s time for the title match. It cuts to a commercial break after The House of Black is in the ring.

AEW Trios Title Match: The House of the Black & The Acclaimed & Daddy Ass

Back from the break and The Acclaimed and Daddy Ass are coming out to the ring. While Max Caster was rapping Matthews, Black, and Matthews attacked them. The bell rings and it’s Matthews in the ring with Max Caster.

Matthews tags in Black, he kicks Caster in the face and Black goes for a pin and gets a one-count. Black looks for another cover and gets a two-count. King gets tagged in and chops Caster. An elbow and another chop in the corner to Caster. Caster gets a big boot and tries to tag in Bowens. Matthews smacks him but falls down too. King runs in the ring, but gets thrown out with a sidekick.

Daddy Ass, who was attacked is up and back now. Caster tries to tag him in. Matthews tags in Black and Caster tags in Daddy Ass. He gets some offense until King hit a lariat and as Daddy Ass got up, Black hit the Black Mass for the win.

Winner and still the champion: The House of Black.

Post-match, Black whispered something to Daddy Ass and Matthews patted him on the back. Daddy Ass is untying his boots. He’s upset that he got pinned. The crowd yells, “You Still got it.” It looks like he’s retiring because he left his boots in the ring and left. He didn’t wait for The Acclaimed or talk to them. Bowens grabbed his boots and they are visibly upset. 

FTR Speak

Highlights from Royal Rampage airs. Tony Schiavone is in the ring and announces FTR to the ring. The crowd chants “FTR.” Schiavone talks about last week’s tag team title match and next week’s match, where they will be defending the titles against MJF and Adam Cole.

Cash Wheeler asks how the crowd is doing. He names people who have unfinished business and he’s not impressed with facing MJF and Cole. Wheeler says he doesn’t trust MJF and Cole shouldn’t. He brings up their time together in the Pinnacle. Says they won’t do the titles last week.

Dax Harwood is on the mic now and talks about his teenage years and how he wanted to revenge on snobby kids that made fun of him for having to get a job. He thinks that Cole and MJF take it as a joke. He doesn’t like their comedy skits and the dance break that happened during this past episode of “Dynamite.” Says next week in Hartford, there will be no dance breaks or comedy.

Skye Blue versus Taya Valkyrie

Blue comes out to the ring for her match against Valkyrie. The bell ring and Valkyrie pushes Blue down. Valkyrie has Blue in the ring and kicks her in the midsection. Blue turns the tables and punches Valkyrie. Blue tries to clothesline her but it doesn’t happen. The crowd chants, “Skye Blue.”

Blue is out of the ring and Valkyrie kicks her. She throws her back in the ring and the two go back and forth. Blue kicks out of The Road to Valhalla. Pretty impressive. It cuts to a commercial break.

Back from the break and they both clothesline each other. Valkyrie and Blue both try to get up. They go back and forth with hits. Blue hits a dropkick. Skye is on the top rope, she hits a crossbody but only gets a two-count. Blue is now picking up the pace. She’s caught though in the ropes and slams her on the apron. Blue does a sidekick, but Valkyrie hits a lariat. She gets the three-count after she hits her finisher. 

Winner: Valkyrie

Post-match, Valkyrie is on the mic and makes fun of the crowd. She brings up Britt Baker and makes fun of her for beating an “enhancement talent.” Valkyrie wants a match with her on Wednesday on “Dynamite.” After that, highlights of Death Before Dishonor air. 

Darby Allin & CM Punk Vs. Christian Cage & Ricky Starks

It’s main event time! Starks and Cage argue about who is going first, but Starks relents. It’s Punk and Starks in the ring. Punk quickly tries to roll up for the win, but is unsuccessful. Starks tags in Christan. Punk flips him in the ring. Christian is in the corner and Punk hits him eight times.

Allin gets tagged in, but he quickly tags back in Punk. They do it again and Punk is back in the ring. So many tags! Allin is back in the ring and hits a wristlock. Allin gets a two-count on Cage. Cage has him in a side headlock, but Punk tags in. He mocks Starks and does his pose. Starks doesn’t want to be tagged in.

Starks is now in the ring. Punk suplexes Starks and goes for the pin, getting a two-count. Allin is in the ring and they do a double clothesline on Cage and Starks. They are now outside of the ring, except Allin, who hits a Coffin Drop on Starks and Cage. Commercial break time.

Back from the break and Cage is in control. Starks is the legal man, he chops Punk. Punk once again goes for a roll-up, and gets a two-count. Starks does an Arm twist ropewalk chop to Punk. Allin is the legal man, he tries to drive on Lucharus but he just shrugs it off. Starks is now getting the upper hand after that and Christian throwing him through the table. Starks hits snake eyes. It cuts to commercials.

Back from the break. Allin is trying to fight back. He crawls to Punk for a tag, but Starks tries to throw him off the stairs. He chases Starks. Cage tags in Starks and Punk fights with the ref. Allin is down.

Punk is finally in and everyone is down. He does the running bulldog on both of them. He clotheslines Cage. He’s on the top rope and body slams him, but Cage turns it around and tries to get the win, but instead, it’s a two-count. Cage is now on the top rope, but Punk hits a back body drop on him and a lateral press.

Starks gets tagged in and they exchange shots. Starks falls down and goes to the corner, but Cage isn’t there. Starks hits the Roshambo, but Allin kicks out of it. Allin hits a reverse ddt from the top, but Cage breaks the pin. Punk and Cage are on the outside of the ring, Punk hits the GTS. He’s out, but Lucharasus helps Starks. Starks decides to cheat again and he holds the ropes and pins Allin.

Winners: Cage & Starks
