Baron Corbin Mocks Austin Theory Over Failed MITB Cash-In

Baron Corbin Mocks Austin Theory Over Failed MITB Cash-In – As noted, Austin Theory unsuccessfully cashed in against Seth Rollins following an open challenge on last night’s WWE RAW.

Whilst there are those who questioned the logic of Austin Theory’s booking, Baron Corbin has reached out with his own message of support.

Hey @_Theory1 welcome to the club. We are a special group led by @JohnCena

Corbin had failed during his cash-in attempt on WWE SmackDown against Jinder Mahal in August 2017.

John Cena cashed in his opportunity at WWE Raw 1000 in July 2012 against CM Punk.

Cena would win the match by disqualification, meaning that the WWE Championship was retained by Punk.

Even though Theory didn’t win the title, he made history with the cash-in as he was the first to do so when opting to challenge for a secondary championship instead of a world title.

Theory had previously attempted to cash in on Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship, at SummerSlam, but he ate an F5 from Brock Lesnar for his troubles

Theory also teased going for Bron Breakker’s NXT Championship, which would’ve marked another Money in the Bank first, as no one has ever cashed in the contract for an NXT Title shot.
