WWE Day 1 Reportedly Cancelled

WWE Day 1 Reportedly Cancelled – According to Wrestlenomics, WWE has cancelled the planned WWE Day 1 premium live event, with it no set to be rescheduled, completely removing it from the calendar.

WWE hosted the first-ever edition of the WWE Day 1 premium live event on January 1, 2022, which saw Brock Lesnar win the WWE Championship in a five-way against Bobby Lashley, Kevin Owens, Seth ‘Freakin’ Rollins and then-WWE Champion Big E.

WWE had previously announced that the Day 1 premium live event would become a yearly tradition, announcing the 2023 edition for January 1, 2023, from the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, GA.

Last month, WWE officials were reportedly considering a date change for the Day 1. Now the news seems official.

The removal of WWE Day 1 now means that there are no WWE premium live events scheduled after Survivor Series next month until the Royal Rumble on January 28, 2023.
