Possible Spoiler On Plans For Former World Champion

Possible Spoiler On Plans For Former World Champion – According to PWInsider, WWE has ‘immediate plans’ for a returning WWE World Champion and Hall of Famer, plans which could materialise on Raw in the coming weeks.

Per report, WWE will be using John Bradshaw Layfield in some way on television in the near future, after a backstage talk during last week’s SmackDown.

JBL has previous appeared as a disembodied voice in a limousine, speaking to Happy Corbin following his loss to Shinsuke Nakamura at the August 27, 2022 episode of SmackDown.

He had also previously spoken of his interest in managing Corbin, saying to Inside the Ropes: “I Love Baron Corbin. I think Baron Corbin is a really smart guy, and I think Baron Corbin is a guy I would like to manage.”

As previously reported, Corbin is undergoing an edgy character change.

JBL was used to be a top heel during the Ruthless Aggression Era where he was the WWE Champion and helped make John Cena a top star by putting him over at WrestleMania 21. He retired from in-ring action to become a play-by-play commentator before returning to wrestling again. In recent years, he has been used as a commentator and a pre-show analyst.
