Austin Theory made an unexpected return on tonight’s NXT.
Ilja Dragunov stood tall at the end of Tuesday’s NXT, holding up the NXT Championship after a pull apart brawl with Bron Breakker and JD McDonagh.
As Dragunov held up the title, Austin Theory’s music hit and he came out to hold up his Money in the Bank briefcase. The briefcase allows Theory to cash in at any time for any title. He won the briefcase at WWE Money in the Bank and has been thwarted on multiple attempts when attempting to cash in for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship.
The NXT Title will be on the line at NXT Halloween havoc when Breakker defends against Dragunov and McDonagh in a triple threat match.
