Preliminary Update On Adam Page’s Injury – As noted earlier, Hangman Adam Page was seriously injured during the World Title main event on AEW Dynamite.
In an update, nothing is confirmed by AEW but it appears that he suffered a neck injury or a concussion and the latter being more likely because it did not look like he landed on the back of his head.
Mike Johnson of PWInsider reports that the injury is seemingly legitimate, and one source believes it might be a concussion. Johnson wrote that Page is being examined at a local hospital, and there is still no official word regarding his injury.
Several fans in attendance confirmed that as Page was being taken out on the stretcher, he gave a thumbs up.
The injured occurred when Page took a clothesline from Jon Moxley. The match was called off by Dr. Michael Sampson and they had to stall for time because there were about 10 minutes left in the show.
It was clear that he suffered a legitimate injury by the reaction of the announcers and because the production team made sure not to film him up close.
We send best wishes to Page and we hope for a speedy recovery.
