Adam Page Comments On AEW World Title Loss To CM Punk

Adam Page Comments On AEW World Title Loss To CM Punk – “Hangman” Adam Page has broken his silence regarding losing the AEW World Heavyweight Title to CM Punk at Sunday’s Double or Nothing pay-per-view event in the main event.

His reign with the title lasted for 197 days as he won it at AEW Full Gear when he defeated Kenny Omega. During that reign, he had successful title defenses against the likes of Bryan Danielson, Lance Archer, and Adam Cole.

Page issued the following statement on his loss via Twitter: “I’ve had a while to reflect on my time as aew champion now that it’s come to an end. thank you all, not for supporting me, but for supporting the vision. it’s not about the gold or the glory, it’s about the common love and dignity with which we treat each other.  change the world.”

As of this writing, AEW has not announced whether Page will be on Wednesday’s Dynamite. It’s unclear whether he will be getting a rematch for the title or if the promotion has different plans for him.
