WWE RAW Results (4/11) Detroit, MI – We start off with a look back at the return of Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania and his promo from Raw.

We are live from the Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, MI, as The Miz makes his way to the ring for his MizTV. Meanwhile, the returning Jerry Lawlwer,  Jimmy Smith and Byron Saxton welcome us to the show.

Miz says tonight’s guest is an extraordinary Superstar, who has been the talk of the whole world since making his WWE return. Miz says this person beat Seth Rollins at WrestleMania, but can he beat The Miz tonight? Miz knocks the Detroit crowd and says their opinions don’t count. Miz goes on and introduces his guest – Cody Rhodes.

Miz says now that they broke the pyro budget and took 45 minutes to upstage Miz on his own show.  Miz asks Cody if he is an egomaniac. Cody says don’t begrudge him.  He says it has been a long time since he has been in front of a crowd like this.  Huge and long “Cody chants”, so Miz starts to get fed up with Cody.

He wants to know if they can get started.  Miz says Cody made an emotional explanation of why he returned to WWE.  He wanted to make his father proud, one of the greatest of all time, Dusty Rhodes.  Miz says it is admirable.  Miz says the reality is if it wasn’t for his dad’s name, he wouldn’t be the grandson of a plumber, he would just be a plumber.

Cody says that is clever.  Cody asks if this is Miz After Dark.  Cody says being a plumber would be a good thing now because Miz is full of…  Cody says Miz hasn’t changed.  You are arrogant, obnoxious, and a full blown carny.  The fact that you embrace it so much makes you reliable.  You are good old reliable Mike.  Cody asks Miz if he looks the same.  What do you think I have been doing for six years.  That road showed me what I need to do.  I need to win the Undisputed WWE Universal Belt.

Miz says it is a title because a belt holds up your pants.  Anyone who can beat Seth Rollins deserves to be considered for the title.  Miz says Seth is looking for a rematch and Seth will know his opponent this time.  He says he does not like Cody’s chances against Seth or against him tonight.  Miz says he did not surprise his opponent but he still embarrassed the Mysterio family and then took care of Logan Paul.  Everyone wanted to talk about Cody Rhodes.  We know where you have been for the last six years.  This is my show and you don’t embarrass me on my show.

Cody tells Miz to settle down and he wants Miz to hear something he never heard on his own show.  Cody says he respects Miz and his accomplishments.  Cody says this hostility is because you feel a little threatened by me.  My opponent at Wrestlemania, I have little issue with.  If he wants a rematch, I have no problem with that.  You are making this personal.

When I came back, I knew there would be criticism and doubt.  I came back to be around the greatest wrestlers. Miz tells Cody they are superstars. Cody says he is looking forward to his first match back on this show in six years.  It is against you.  May the best man win.

Miz tries to hit Rhodes with a sneak attack but Cody counters and tosses him through the ropes to the floor. Cody’s music starts up as he yells out at Miz. Miz and Cody stare each other down to end the segment.
