Dolph Ziggler won the NXT Title during tonight’s NXT Roadblock special episode, defeating Bron Breakker and Tommaso Ciampa in a Triple Threat Match.
Ziggler won the match after knocking out Tommaso Ciampa with a superkick just after Bron Breakker was knocked out of the ring.
The ending came across like a big deal in the building as it got a big reaction from the fans who were not expecting to see Breakker lose the title. They made sure not to pin Breakker, which means that this is leading towards a rematch, presumably for Stand & Deliver during WrestleMania weekend.
Tonight’s show ended with Ziggler celebrating in the aisleway with Robert Roode and Breakker with a shocked look on his face.
