Nic and Ryan Nemeth capture the TNA Tag Team Championships – The TNA Tag Team Championships have new holders, as Nic and Ryan Nemeth defeated Matt and Jeff Hardy at TNA Rebellion 2025. The bout was billed as a classic battle of brothers, and the action lived up to expectations.
Leading into the match, the Hollywood Heels — as the Nemeth brothers are known — stole the championship belts from The Hardys on an episode of iMPACT. At Rebellion, they completed the job by officially taking the titles.
The match saw a fired-up crowd in Los Angeles firmly behind Matt and Jeff Hardy. Despite hitting signature moves like the Whisper in the Wind, Twist of Fate, and Swanton Bombs, The Hardys could not put the Nemeths away. The contest remained back-and-forth until a crucial miscue from Matt Hardy shifted the momentum.
After Matt missed a big move, the referee was only able to count to two, which allowed Ryan Nemeth to stop Jeff Hardy’s attempt at another Swanton Bomb. Ryan took Matt out of the picture, and Nic followed up with a low blow and his signature Danger Zone move. Ryan then tagged in and secured the decisive pinfall.
This victory marks the first time Nic and Ryan Nemeth have captured the TNA Tag Team Championships. Their win brings a new chapter to the tag team division, with the Hollywood Heels now holding the gold.
