Chris Jericho Fires Back At Fan Knocking His New Stable

Chris Jericho has reinvented himself once again and created a new group after finding success with The Inner Circle that consisted of himself, Jake Hager, Sammy Guevara, Santana, and Ortiz.

On Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite, the former AEW World Heavyweight Champion did a promo to address not delivering on his promise to shake Eddie Kingston’s hand after dropping a loss in their match at Revolution. This led to a beatdown on Kingston from Jericho, Jake Hager, Daniel Garcia, and 2point0’s Matt Lee & Jeff Parker.

After Hager put Kingston through a table, Jericho took the mic to say that this was the Jericho Appreciation Society and that’s entertainment. His new gimmick is that he’s a sports entertainer, which he recently filed a trademark for.

A fan on Twitter wrote, “I think @IAmJericho has missed a trick with Renaming the Inner Circle as Inner Circle 2.0.”

Obviously, that’s not the right name of the group, but the fan was knocking how the idea is similar to The Inner Circle. Jericho decided to put the troll in his place by firing back with,  “I think you’re a dumb idiot. Let the geniuses be geniuses and keep your opinions to yourself. #ThatsEntertainment.”

Jericho takes pride in creating news stars in AEW as he did that with The Inner Circle and this is his latest goal to build up more stars.
