WWE Made Late Changes To The Monday Night RAW Format

The format for this week’s RAW episode originally looked very different from what the company ended up presenting as there were changes made to the script just hours before the show went live on the USA Network.

Pwinsider.com reports there was a lot of reshuffling of matches and segments. The only thing that stayed consistent was the Paul Heyman and Brock Lesnar segment that opened the show.

The Damian Priest vs. Shelton Benjamin match was added to the card at the last minute, which was likely done to help the upcoming United States Championship match next week between Priest and Finn Balor.

WWE did stick with the original main event as RK-Bro vs. Seth Rollins and Kevin Owens took place. The two teams will compete in a triple threat match for the Raw Tag Team Titles with current champions Alpha Academy on March 7th.
