WWE RAW Results (2/22) Columbia, SC – We begin with some highlights from Elimination Chamber.

We are live from the Colonial Life Arena in Columbia, SC, as new WWE Champion, Brock Lesnar, makes his way to the ring and he is all smiles.

Brock says it is getting hot in here so he takes off his sweater, but he’s immediatly interrupted by Paul Heyman.  Brock tells Paul that is as far as he should go if he was Paul. Brock joins in the chants for Paul.

Paul says the special counsel for the Tribal Chief does not suck.  Paul says he must say that he is the special counsel for only real heavyweight champion in WWE, Roman Reigns. Paul says he came out tonight not to be disrespectful, but out of respect for their 20 year business relationship.  You are so myopic looking at the Title versus Title match at Wrestlemania.  There is a roadblock in your way, farm boy.  You may not make it to Wrestlemania as champion.  I took care of the small details and you have to defend the title on March 5th in Madison Square Garden.  You ain’t gonna make it to Wrestlemania as champion.  Thank you and if there is any other information I need to give you, please let me know.

Brock says he can appreciate Paul even though he is such a dick.  Brock thanks Paul for telling him where he is supposed to be when he already knows where he has to be.  Paul asks Brock if he knows that he has to defend the title against Bobby Lashley.  If Bobby cannot get past concussion protocols, he will make sure that Brock has an opponent worthy of Madison Square Garden.

Brock tells Paul that he is doing just fine without Paul Heyman.  Brock thanks Paul for telling him where he is supposed to be.  Brock tells Paul where he is going to be on Friday night.  You are going to be standing in the ring in Hershey with Roman Reigns demanding acknowledgement.  

Guess where Brock is going to be? Paul says Saskatchewon and Brock buzzes him. Brock says that he will be on Smackdown on Friday night to introduce the reigning, defending, undisputed WWE Champion.

Backstage:

Seth Rollins and Kevin Owens are talking in the back and Kevin says he knows that Kevin Patrick is standing behind him.  Patrick asks about their paths to Wrestlemania.  Owens says they have a path.  They are the best tag team on Raw.  They beat Orton and Riddle two wesks ago.  Seth reminds Patrick that he beat Orton last week.  Owens says they will be added to the tag title match in two weeks if they beat Orton and Riddle tonight.  Owens says maybe they will challenge the Usos in a title versus title match. Kevin says the idea of being at Wrestlemania with his best friend, it makes it bearable that it will take place in that hell hole of Dallas, Texas.

— The Street Profits make their way to the ring as we go to commercial.

The Street Profits vs. Alpha Academy

Gable and Dawkins start things off and Dawkins with a shoulder tackle.  Gable with a Gator roll and take down.  Dawkins with an arm drag into an arm bar.  Ford tags in and hits a drop kick and gets a near fall.  Gable with a double thrust to the chest and Otis tags in.  Otis with a forearm to the back.  Otis with a punch to the midsection and then he turns his attention to Dawkins on the apron.  Otis with a slam to Ford and he sends Ford into the turnbuckles.  Gable tags in and Otis sends Dawkins to the floor.  Otis is sent to the floor.  Gable is caught by Otis.  Dawkins tags in and Gable and Otis pull Ford to the floor but Dawkins with a flip dive onto everyone.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Otis works on Ford’s neck and connects with a forearm to teh back.  Otis with an Irish whip and Ford floats over but Otis with a clothesline.  Gable tags in and he kicks Ford.  Ford goes to the apron and connects with shoudlers and goes for a leap frog but Gable catches Ford and hits a Northern Lights suplex for a near fall.  Gable with punches and an arm bar.  Ford escapes a tag and tags in Dawkins.  Dawkins with a clothesline and corkscrew back elbow.  Dawkins with an exploder and a twisting butterfly suplex.  Dawkins with a twisting splash into the corner and Ford tags in.  They hit a Doomsday Blockbuster but Otis breaks up the cover.

Dawkins and Otis go to the floor and they exchange punches.  Otis sends Dawkins into the ringside barrier.  Ford with a kick from teh apron.  Ford lands on his feet and Otis makes the tag.  Ford lands on his feet on a German suplex.  Ford with a kick and he sends Gable to the floor.  Ford with kicks and an enzuigiri.  Ford gets Otis up for a slam but he collapses under Otis’ weight and Gable hold Ford’s leg to prevent the kick out.

Winners: Alpha Academy.

— We take a look at what happened last week with Dolph Ziggler and Tommaso Ciampa.

Backstage:

Kevin Patrick is in the back with Tommaso Ciampa.  He asks if Ciampa has any pressure tonight in a tag match against Ziggler and Roode.  Ciampa says this started when Ziggler came to NXT and disrespected him.  He has no problem taking care of Ziggler or Roode.  He knew who to call to be his partner.  

Finn Balor shows up and he says Raw might be his home but he never forgets where he came from and he will never forget standing in the ring with Tommaso Ciampa.  We stood in the ring as opponents but tonight we stand as partners.

— Finn Balor makes his way to the ring as we go to commercial.

Tommaso Ciampa and Finn Balor vs. Robert Roode and Dolph Ziggler

Roode and Ciampa start things off and Ziggler distracts Ciampa to allow Roode to apply a side head lock and connect with a shoulder tackle.  Ciampa with a shoulder tackle and side head lock take down.  Ziggler tags in and Roode with a shoulder.  Ziggler with a punch and thumb to the eyes.  Ciampa with punches.  Ciampa with a clothesline to Ziggler.  Ciampa gets a near fall.  Balor makes the tag and Ciampa sends Ziggler to the floor and Ciampa with a knee.  Balor with a forearm to knock Roode off the apron.  Balor with a plancha onto Roode and Ziggler.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Ziggler tags in and kicks Ciampa in the head.  Ciampa with a punch and chop.  Ziggler with a kick.  Roode tags in and they kick Ciampa.  Roode chokes Ciampa with a his boot.  Roode chokes Ciampa in the ropes and tags Ziggler back in.  Ziggler with a front face lock.  Ziggler goes for a neck breaker but Ciampa escapes and hits a clothesline.  Roode and Balor tag in and Balor with a clothesline and flying forearm.  Balor with a double leg take down and double stomp.  Balor with a chop in the corner.  Roode with a kick and Balor escapes a Glorious DDT.  Balor with an elevated elbow drop and he gets a near fall.  Ziggler send Ciampa to the floor and Balor send Ziggler to the floor.

Roode with a spinebuster for a near fall.  Rood goes for a fisherman’s suplex and Balor with sling blade.  Ciampa tags in and runs into a back elbow.  Roode comes off the turnbuckles and Ciampa with a knee.  Roode with a back body drop to counter Fairy Tale Ending but Ciampa rolls through and gets the three count.

Winners:  Tommaso Ciampa and Finn Balor

— After some WrestleMania 38 video packages, The Miz makes his way to the ring as we go to commercial.

In the Arena:

We are back and Miz welcomes everyone to MizTV.  Miz says he wants to discuss a realization he had over the weekend.  You don’t know what it is like to fly on a private plane, leave your podunk town, or your couch.  You want to have my life but it is unattainable.  What do you do?  You look to someone you can better relate with, like Rey Mysterio.  Rey and I are not different other than by size.  You look past all of his misconducts, including using Dominik to cheat and beat him at Elimination Chamber.  You need Rey to succeed because if you succeed, you can feel better.  Rey is not hiding behind a mask of humility.  I have come to a realization that you are the ones who cannot be trusted.  Miz says he has found a new tag team partner going into Wrestlemania.  Someone he can relate to and someone he can trust.  Someone from a fighting family.  Someone who is dashing.  Someone who is an athlete and a celebrity.

Rey Mysterio’s music plays and he comes out with his son Dominik.  

Miz says they are not the same and there is no one in the back who would partner up with you.  No one in the locker room can stand you.  Whoever you brought in tonight can go right back where he came from and give his moment at Wrestlemania to someone who deserves it.

Miz tells Rey and Dominik.  He knows what is best for this industry, not you and not them.  At our match at Elimination Chamber, it was supposed to be one-on-one but it felt like a handicap match.  Did I deserve to lose this match?  Did you deserve to win that match?  Does Dominik deserve a contract or did daddy get him a contract.  

Dominik says he has been in the front row since he was seven.  I watched everything.  I know what it takes to be a WWE Superstar.  I will do what it takes to stay here.  This is my blood, my life, and my family.  This is everything that I know.  If you say anything about my dad, I will…

Miz proposes that him and his tag team partner face the Mysterios at Wrestlemania.  Miz introduces his special tag team partner, Logan Paul.

Logan says he has pull toys bigger than Rey. Dominik says if this is your partner, we accept. 

Paul attacks Rey while Miz works over Dominik. Logan and Miz send Rey shoulder first into the ring post.  They do the same to Dominik.  Miz with a Skull Crushing FInale on Rey.  Logan with a Skull Crushing Finale to Dominik.

Backstage:

Kevin Patrick is in the back with Otis and Chad Gable. Kevin mentions their victory and asks about the main event.  Chad shooshes Kevin and insults South Carolina.  At least RK Bro earned a title match.  Seth and Kevin complained to get a titlte match chance.  Chad talks about how their odds go down if Seth and Kevin are added to the match.  Chad says they will win regardless of who is in the match.

We go to commercial.

Rhea Ripley vs. Nikki A.S.H.

Nikki yells at Rhea about what happened at Elimination Chamber and then she slaps Rhea like she is a Wisconsin basketball coach.  Rhea slaps Nikki and biels her across the ring.  Rhea with shoulders in the corner.  Rhea with a punch.  Nikki moves out of the corner when Rhea charges.  Rhea gets Nikki up for a delayed vertical suplex.  Nikki goes to the announce table and calls Rhea a bully.  Rhea sends Nikk into the announce table and they return to the ring.  Nikki with forearms to teh back.  Rhea with a thrust kick and RipTide for the three count.

Winner:  Rhea Ripley

We go to commercial.

— We are back with a look at what happened to Bobby Lashley during the Elimination Chamber match.  Corey gives us an update and Byron mentions if Bobby is cleared to compete by March 5th, he will face Brock Lesnar for the WWE Championship.

— We have a video package for The Undertaker.

— Damian Priest makes his way to the ring as we go to commercial.

Damian Priest vs. Shelton Benjamin

Benjamin hits Priest from behind while Cedric distracts Priest.  Priest with punches but Benjamin with a kick.  Priest grabs Benjamin by the throat and Shelton escapes the choke slam and sends Priest to the floor.  Alexander with a running kick to the chest when the referee was distracted by Benjamin.  Benjamin with an Olympic Slam for a near fall.  Benjamin with punches to Priest and a reverse chin lock.  Priest with a jumping back elbow to Benjamin.  Priest with kicks to the chest and a rolling elbow and clothesline.  Priest with a back elbow into the corner.  Priest with a spinning heel kick.  

Priest sends Alexander off the apron and Benjamin with a knee in the corner followed by an exploder for a near fall.  Priest with a kick and South of Heaven.  Priest wtih Reckoning for the three count.

Winner:  Damian Priest

After the match, Priest says he will give props to Shelton for being one of the few who will come out and fight like a man.  Priest says he has defeated World Champions too.  Priest says he wants his champion at Wrestlemania to be of Wrestlemania quality.  I want someone next week who is of World Champion caliber to face me next week.

Finn Balor’s music plays and he makes his way to the stage.  Balor says you want to face a serious athlete?  You want to face a serious fighter?  You want a World Champion level opponent?  Sounds like you are talking about me.  Be careful what you wish for because I will see you next week.

— We take a look at Reggie’s betrayal of Dana Brooke for not wanting to be pinned ‘that way’.

— Reggie makes his way to the ring as we go to commercial.

In the Arena:

We are back and Reggie is in the ring.  He says he has something to get off his chest.  He asks Dana Brooke to come out to the ring. Reggie says he was supportive of her as champion and maybe I wanted to be more than friends, but you only wanted to be friends.  I lost focus and took advantage of the opportunity.  Reggie says from the bottom of his heart, he apologizes.  He wants to show Dana that she means more to him.  Reggie asks for a referee to come to the ring.  Reggie lays down for Dana and Reggie kicks out at two on the cover.  Reggie apologizes.  Reggie kicks out again.  Dana uses the lip lock to pin Reggie and get the three count.

The 24/7 Stooges make their way to the ring and Reggie drop kicks Truth and Dana knocks Tozawa off the apron into Tamina’s arms.  Tozawa wants a kiss and Tamina drops him.  They run to the back.

— After more highlights from Elimination Chamber, Bianca Belair makes her way to the ring as we go to commercial.

In the Arena:

We are back and Bianca says she is going back to Wrestlemania.  She says she made history last year walking out as Smackdown Women’s Champion.  She is ready to run that back but take the Raw Women’s Title from Becky Lynch.  Bianca mentions the other women in the Elimination Chamber match.  Those are some tough women, especially Doudrop.  There can only be one toughEST.  Bianca says she is the hardEST working woman in WWE.  She says she has been working nonstop for this moment.  If you think I am going to slow down?  In six weeks, I will show why you can’t spell Wrestlemania without E-S-T.

Becky Lynch’s music plays and she makes her way to the ring.

Becky congratulates Bianca for getting back to the big time.  It doesn’t get bigger than the two women who won main events of Wrestlemania.  The only reason you were able to main event Wrestlemania because I did it first.

Bianca says she did it better.  Becky says she walked out of Wrestlemania 35 as Becky Two Belts.  One of those titles, I have been holding ever since.  Nobody has beaten me for this title in three years.  For the other title, it was six months ago when I beat you in 26 seconds.

Bianca says that Becky loves to bring up the 26 seconds. Becky says that Bianca loves to play the victim. Bianca says she could have put her tail between her legs and gone away, but the experience would have been for nothing.  I went to the back of the line.  After the Survivor Series, I was the sole survivor.  I won at Elimination Chamber.

Becky says that Bianca is not the victim, Becky says she is the victim.  Before you came along, the people loved me.  I was the man of the people.  I had a hero’s return at Summerslam, but they despise me because I beat you.  Because they despise me, I despise you.  You saw what I did at Elimination Chamber to someone I loved.  What will I do when I face someone I despise.  Bianca says if you want to play the victim, why don’t I make you the victim. 

Doudrop makes her way to the ring as we go to commercial.

Doudrop vs. Bianca Belair

They lock up and Bianca backs Doudrop into the corner and gives a clean break.  Doudrop sends Bianca into the corner and the referee warns Doudrop.  Doudrop misses a forearm and Bianca with a side head lock.  Doudrop blocks a hip toss and gets a near fall with a take down.  Doudrop gets Bianca up but Bianca escapes.  Doudrop with an Irish whip and Bianca floats over and drop kicks Doudrop into the corner.  Bianca with shoulders in the corner.  Bianca sends Doudrop into the turnbuckles.  Doudrop with a clothesline in the corner.  Doudrop with a punch to the midsection.  Doudrop with a forearm.

Bianca sends Doudrop into the turnbuckles and Bianca tries to get Doudrop up for the KOD.  Doudrop goes to the apron and connects with a head butt.  Bianca with a handspring kick that knocks Doudrop off the apron.  Bianca goes to the apron and hits a cross body and then Bianca gets in Becky’s face.  Doudrop with a cross body to Bianca on the floor.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Doudrop with a reverse chin lock.  Bianca with punches and Doudrop with a belly-to-back suplex.  Bianca with a spinebuster.  Bianca sets for a suplex but Doudrop blocks it.  Doudrop with an Irish whip and Bianca slaps her ass to taunt Doudrop.  After Doudrop blocks a few suplexes, Bianca suplexes Doudrop.  Doudrop send Bianca into the turnbuckles.  Doudrop sends Bianca face first into the mat.  Doudrop misses a cannonball when Bianca moves.  Doudrop wtih a Michinoku Driver for a near fall.  Doudrop with a kick and she goes to the turnbuckles for a Vader Bomb but Bianca with a power bomb.  Bianca gets Doudrop up for the KOD and hits it for the three count.

Winner:  Bianca Belair

After the match, Becky gets on the announce table to hold up her title belt.

We go to commercial.

In the Arena:

Back from the break and Edge makes his way to the ring and sits on a chair in the middle of the ring.

Edge asks the people if they can smell that.  It is the smell of Wrestlemania in the air.  Edge wants to talk about Wrestlemania 3.  He says he would listen to the results of the matches on the radio and he heard the announcer mention that Hogan slammed Andre and beat him.  That is why his pulse quickens every year around this time.  The people in the back know what it is like to be part of Wrestlemania.  Edge says the first Wrestlemania he attended as part of the WWE was Wrestlemania 14.  It took 2 more years to get on the show.  Edge says he had to take every chance to do what it took to elevate his career.  He did it but he understood the stakes and he would have to outdo himself.  The next year, against two of the best tag teams in a ladder match on the greatest show they stole the show.

Edge mentions winning the first Money in the Bank, then he put Mick Foley through a flaming table the next year.  He main evented Wrestlemania 24 against the Undertaker.  Wrestlemania 27, he says he thought he fought his last match.  For a lot of people that would be enough.  Not for me.  I busted my ass for 10 years to get Wrestlemania back.  Last year, I main evented again.  

For 38 years, Wrestlemania has been the stuff of dreams.  Some dream of winning the Stanley Cup or the Super Bowl, but i dream of Wrestlemania.  I am dreaming about soaking everything in so I can be phenomenal.  At Wrestlemania, I make everyone and everything around me better.

You need to fight your inner demon and become undeniable.  I need Wrestlemania.  You cannot call Wrestlemania ‘stupendous’ without me.  While I need Wrestlemania, Wrestlemania needs Edge.  Edge says he is laying out the challenge for everyone in the locker room.  He needs someone to step up and stand across the ring against me to face the man who is the best in the business.  You fight me a Wrestlemania and I will make you live forever.  

Step up boys because I will be waiting.

Randy Orton and Riddle make their way to the ring as we go to commercial.

RK-Bro vs. Seth Rollins and Kevin Owens

If Seth and Kevin win, then they the tag title match in two weeks becomes a Triple Threat Match Match.

Riddle and Owens start things off.  They lock up and Riddle with a waist lock and take down.  Owens with a standing switch and side head lock.  Owens with a shoulder tackle but Riddle pops back up.  Riddle with a  waist lock into a sleeper as we seel Alpha Academy watch in the back.  Owens with a back senton and he kicks Riddle.  Rollins tags in and he punches Riddle.  Riddle gets Rollins up but Rollins gets to his feet and hits sling blade.  Seth dances with himself in the ring and Riddle with a gutwrench.  Orton tags in and kicks Rollins.  Riddle tags in and Orton with a snap mare.  Orton tosses Riddle onto Rollins for a near fall.  Orton tags back in and he stomps on Rollins’ foot.  Rollins with a kick and punches.

Orton punches Owens off the apron and Orton sends Rollins to the floor with a back body drop.  Owens makes the save for Rollins to avoid the back drop driver onto the announce table but Orton gives Owens a back drop driver onto the announce table.  Rollins with a suicide dive to send Orton over the announce table.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Rollins with a front face lock to Orton followed by an Irish whip but you don’t Irish whip Orton into the corner because he always clotheslines you.  Owens tags in and punches Riddle on the apron and kicks Orton.  Owens gets a near fall.  Orton with a belly-to-back suplex to Owens.  Rollins and Riddle tag in and Riddle with strikes and a Pele kick.  Riddle with running forearms to Rollins in the corner.  Rollins with an elbow but Riddle with an exploder to counter a rolling elbow.  Riddle with a back senton and German suplex for a near fall.  Owens puts Riddle in the tree of woe and Rollins with a double stomp for a near fall.  Owens with a shoulder breaker for a near fall.  Owens punches Orton on the apron and Owens with an enzuigiri.

Rollins tags in and Owens with a swanton and Rollins with a frog splash for a near fall.  Owens tags in and Riddle avoids Rollins and Owens and tags in Orton.  Orton with two clotheslines to Owens and he ducks one from Owens.  Orton with a power slam to Owens and then one to Rollins.  Rollins gets to the floor to avoid a double IEDDT but Owens is not so lucky.  Orton twists to the mat and Owens pushes Orton into the corner.  Owens sends Orton to the floor but Riddle tags in.  Owens with a boot to Riddle.  Rollins with Black Out on the floor.  Riddle with a moonsault.  Rollins tags in and hits a buckle bomb.  Owens with a stunner followed by Black Out from Rollins for the three count.

Winners:  Seth Rollins and Kevin Owens

In two weeks, The Alpha Academy will have to defend against Seth Rollins & Kevin Owens + RK-Bro. We see Chad Gable and Otis backstage and they are not happy. We go to credits while Rollins dance in the middle of the ring to celebrate the victory.
