It appears the ring names of Humberto Carrillo and Angel Garza have been shortened.
These stars now have no last names. WWE.com is simply listing them as ‘Angel’ and ‘Humberto’. Their profiles have been updated to reflect the change.
During Friday’s SmackDown episode, WWE also revealed the new team name for ‘Angel’ and ‘Humberto’ is Los Lotharios. They got a win over Cesaro and Mansoor.
The name could be a tribute to Jose Lothario, the legendary wrestler who trained Shawn Michaels, but it looks like there is more to their name.
The Merriam-Webster dictionary defines lothario as “a man whose chief interest is seducing women.” OxfordLangues states that lothario is “a man who behaves selfishly and irresponsibly in his sexual relationships with women.”
