WALTER lost a barnburner of a match to Ilja Dragunov at NXT TakeOver 36. A lot of fans were left wondering about his next chapter, and it seems that there is a pull to get WALTER on the black and gold brand for good.
According to a report from PW Insider, there is currently a push within NXT to bring WALTER to NXT’s “proper” brand soon. We will have to see if they can pull that off, because he has made it very clear in the past that he doesn’t wan to live in America.
There was a LOT of talk coming out of his insane match at Takeover 36 that WALTER needs to be on WWE NXT proper on a consistent basis. Whether that happens or not, time will tell.
WALTER could do a lot on the NXT roster, because he has already done everything he can in NXT UK. This is a tricky situation, because he does reside in Europe and doesn’t plan on that changing the last we heard.
