Elektra Lopez Makes NXT Debut – Franky Monet was poised to have the encore of her world premiere tonight. Prior to her heading to the ring, a new face graced our screens as Elektra Lopez made her NXT debut.
Lopez, formerly known as Karissa Rivera, was signed by WWE earlier in the year and had her class originally announced in February. In that class was Monet along with Gigi Dolin, Cora Jade, Zayda Ramier, and more. She has had previous matches for ROH and WWR. Lopez also played the part of Bobby Lashley’s ex-wife in the angle of the Lashley/Lana wedding.
Lopez ended up on the losing end of her debut as Monet delivered a massive forearm before hitting the Glam Slam to get the pin and the victory.
Lopez wrestled for ROH, Impact Wrestling, NEW, Women’s Wrestling Revolution, and other indie promotions before signing with WWE. She also teamed with AEW star Kris Statlander for a loss to then-WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions The IIconics on the April 9, 2019 SmackDown episode, and lost to Lacey Evans on the November 14, 2018 NXT TV show.
Lopez can now be found on Instagram and Twitter at @elektralopezwwe.
Monet also continues to meddle in with The Robert Stone Brand hinting at her wanting Aliyah and Jessi Kamea to dump Robert Stone.
