Corey Graves Was Scheduled to Work With Ranallo at Survivor Series

As noted, Corey Graves sent out a tweet about Mauro Ranallo’s commentary during NXT TakeOver: WarGames. This resulted in Mauro Ranallo leaving Twitter and missing Survivor Series PPV last Sunday.

Bryan Alvarez reported on Wrestling Observer Live that Mauro Ranallo was backstage for a brief time before Survivor Series. He had Frank Shamrock with him and then the two left.

Mike Johnson reported on PW Insider Elite audio that Corey Graves and Mauro Ranallo were slated to work together during the NXT Title match at Survivor Series. This is when Michael Cole made an announcement about Mauro blowing out his voice instead and he filled in.

Hopefully, Mauro Ranallo will be on NXT this Wednesday. If he doesn’t show up to Full Sail Arena this week then we might have a much different story.

As noted, Corey Graves took to Twitter on yesterday morning to call out reports in regards to his tweets on Mauro Ranallo from Saturday night. You can read more from that story at this link.
