Corey Graves on Reports About Mauro Ranallo Situation, Steve Austin To Interview CM Punk

– Could we see WWE Hall of Famer Steve Austin interview CM Punk on his new WWE Network interview series?

There was said to be a lot of talk over the Survivor Series weekend that WWE officials want CM Punk as the guest for a future episode of Austin’s “Broken Skull Sessions” series on the Network, according to PWInsider. There’s no word yet on if they have reached out to Punk about the interview.

On a related note, Punk was not backstage at any of the WWE events in Chicago over the Survivor Series weekend.

– WWE SmackDown announcer Corey Graves took to Twitter this morning to call out reports in regards to his tweets on Mauro Ranallo from Saturday night.

Graves wrote, “[waving hand emoji] @davemeltzerWON, you uninformed, false narrative pushing liar. My phone works. You’re a ‘journalist,’ right? You can find my number.”

As noted earlier, via Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, WWE officials were reportedly not happy with Graves over his tweets about Mauro during Saturday’s WWE NXT “Takeover: WarGames 2019” event. Apparently Graves’ tweet led to Mauro taking the night off on Sunday and missing the WWE Survivor Series pay-per-view.
