A special episode of WWE Backstage aired immediately after Tonight’s SmackDown and there was an interesting segment where Paige expressed her thoughts on Seth Rollins’ catchphrase.
“Can I just say something though? Sorry, Seth once again,” Paige said. “That burn it down thing that they make you say, it’s like trying to make fetch happen. It’s not gonna happen for me and I get really annoyed every time I hear it.”
Rollins has been taking heat from fans who don’t want to cheer him because he (in their eyes) does not come across as cool and feels forced on them. Paige’s comments on WWE Backstage will not help Rollins’ cause.

– After losing to Roman Reigns and Team Hogan tonight on Tonight’s SmackDown, Baron Corbin let his frustration out on Roman Reigns.
During a segment on WWE Backstage, Corbin brutally assaulted Reigns in the locker room, not stopping despite a handful of people attempting to pull him apart. Hulk Hogan was quick to respond, taking to social media and saying that despite the attack, Team Flair will get destroyed at WWE Crown Jewel. Afterwards, the WWE announced that Corbin and Reigns would take each other on at next week’s SmackDown.

WHAT? Glad you got your one and only CHEAP shot in King Corbin. I saw what you did on #WWEBackstage, but get ready! MY Captain @WWERomanReigns will destroy #TeamFlair and it’s gonna start with you, brother! HH— Hulk Hogan (@HulkHogan) October 26, 2019
– Finn Balor also appeared on WWE Backstage to talk about his shocking actions at the end of this week’s episode of NXT.
For those of you that missed it, Balor turned on Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa while The Undisputed Era looked on. Balor stopped short of actually joining The Undisputed Era.
Balor’s explanation for returning to NXT was simple. He feels the main roster is like Hollywood but NXT is like broadway.
“I want to go back to being the real me,” Balor said. He also said it was great to kick Gargano in the head and seeing the fans speechless.
“I felt like maybe I haven’t been true to myself for a long time,” Balor added. He also said that a lot of people want a piece of him this week.
Booker pointed out that Balor has a different look in his eyes. Balor responded, “I say this is the real Finn Balor. You’re a big fan of my work from before WWE, right?” He continued, “Let’s just say the Prince is back.”
That’s an obvious reference to his previous name, Prince Devitt. Balor recently returned to NXT after taking time off to get married and recharge.
